Neighborhood Watch

Interested in building community by getting to know the neighbors on your block, sharing information about crime prevention and speaking directly with a patrol officer from the Tucson Police Department about concerns and resources? Consider joining the Neighborhood Watch group on your block, or starting your own.

What a Neighborhood Watch entails:

  • Hold a meeting (at least one is required each year that includes a member of the Tucson Police Department)

  • Schedule a meeting with a patrol office from the Tucson Police Department Neighborhood Watch coordinator (see contact info below)

  • Create a "block map," including the names and addresses of each member on your block

  • Home security measures (such as painting your address on the curb to assist First Responders)
